Dayton Challenger Center Space Day
Dayton Challenger Center will celebrate their 2nd Annual Space Day with hands-on and interactive activities for children and adults. Take part in a simulated space mission to Mars, enjoy a trip to the International Space Station with our Micronaut Program, build and launch a variety of rockets, participate in STEM Hands-on Ac tivities and view a number of exhibition booths.

Space Day at Crofton Meadows Elementary School
Space Week at Crofton Meadows Elementary School will be open to over 450 students and parents as well as the greater Crofton Community. During the week, students will visit activity stations that will educate and entertain students on topics relating to science, math, engineering and technology.

Space Day 2010
The event features an assembly-style presentation, titled "Living in Space," which will be held in the museum's Carney Auditorium. Also offered are a variety of hands-on activities and demonstrations on space-related topics, such as why astronauts float and how they train for spacewalks! The museum will also have model and high-power rockets on display. The event is free and is geared for students in grades 5-8.

Bay Point Young Astronauts Big Blast
Bay Point Elementary *Magnet, Young Astronauts Club. End of the year, rocket launch. Grades 1-5 end of the year celebration. Each student built their own flyable rocket! Awards, pictures, and parents. All enjoy this great farewell for the school year event. All friends, and alumni are invited. Science Day
This will be our school's second annual Science Day. Students spend the entire day conducting scientific experiments. Teachers plan and lead experiments as stuednts rotate through stations and participate in the scientific process at each station. Each experiment is aligned with the grade level's standards of learning (the state curriculum). Guest speakers from local wildlife habitats are invited to speak and bring small critters with them. This year our event will be tied into Earth Day and include conservation activities.

Space Port/IUPUC Space Day
Space Port Indiana and Indiana University Purdue University Columbus, Indaina (IUPUC) will host Space Day in Indiana at the combined sites of Space Port Indiana and IUPUC. The event will include activities, experiments and counceling opportunities for those who have an interest in space and a space career.
